Moving from sumHR? Bring your data with you.
Your employees, leave balances and past payroll come across from sumHR. You check every row before it is saved, and you can undo the import within 7 days.
What to download from sumHR
Download these reports to Excel or CSV. Menu names change between versions, so ask your admin if you can’t find one.
- From sumHR, download the employee master report to Excel — include employees who have left.
- Download the leave balance report as of today, and the holiday list.
- For past payroll, download the monthly salary or payroll register to Excel. One long sheet or one sheet per month both work.
- Optional: daily attendance, leave taken, salary revisions, and a ZIP of employee documents.
When you upload, we match the columns for you. If a column name is different, you can pick the right match yourself before anything is saved.
What comes with you
- Employees, including people who have left
- Departments, designations, locations and reporting managers
- Leave balances as of your go-live date
- Holiday lists
- Past payroll, month by month, so payslips and Form 16 history stay
- Attendance history and salary revisions, if you want them
- Employee documents, from a ZIP file
Four simple steps
Download your data
Export your reports from the old software, or connect it where we support a direct connection.
Upload and check
We match the columns for you and show every problem row before anything is saved.
Import
One click brings it all in. Not right? Undo it and try again.
Run side by side
Run one month of payroll in both if you like, and compare before you switch off the old one.
Questions people ask
Will I lose my old sumHR data?
No. Nothing in your old software is changed. You download reports from it, and we read those files. You can keep using it until you are ready to switch.
How long does the move take?
Most companies upload and check their data in a day. Many then run one month of payroll in both places before switching off the old one.
What if the import goes wrong?
You see every problem row before anything is saved. After the import, you can undo it within 7 days and try again.
Do I need technical help?
No. If you can download a report to Excel, you can do this. Our team can also go through it with you on a call.
Moving from something else?
